ConfigureID and COVID-19

The Coronavirus situation is disrupting all of our lives. Our sincere sympathies go out to those who have been medically or economically impacted by the pandemic.

Of course, we are focused first and foremost on the health and wellbeing of our employees and contractors. We are all working from home, and everyone is washing their hands frequently. Everybody is being encouraged to take the time needed to maintain their health, and to care for their family members. If people get sick with COVID-19 or anything else, we want them to stop working and get the care they need.

From a work perspective, the impact of Coronavirus on ConfigureID has been minimal. Most of us were already working from home. We have a distributed infrastructure to facilitate remote work, leveraging technologies like GSuite, Slack, Zoom, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and git. Our redundant distributed cloud infrastructure has been running smoothly, and is designed to be resilient in the face of regional disruptions.
