The Goals
Hydro Flask was looking to create a personalized experience for their flask bottle customers. They wanted something that would enhance their shopping experience, increase sales for their bottles and create greater engagement with their customers.
The Solution
Hydroflask worked with ConfigureID to create My Hydro which is a separate landing page from the regular Hydroflask website. Inside My Hydro, customers can select from a large variety of options to build their own water bottles and give them their personal touch. The customization options include bottle type, bottle size, as well as several colors for the strap, cap, body, and boot of the bottle.
The Results
When the My Hydro program was launched in 2016, site-wide revenue grew by 50% year-over-year and customers have become more engaged by being able to create unique and personalized water bottles. Today, around 20% of the traffic that reaches hydroflask.com also reaches My Hydro.
